Pure Resourcing Solutions Limited is recruiting a Purchase Ledger Controller to join a busy finance team on a permanent, office-based basis in the United Kingdom. The role focuses on managing the purchase ledger, supporting month-end activities, reconciliations, and supplier relationships.

You will work closely with the Finance Controller to ensure accurate posting, timely payments, and continuous process improvements across PO/GRNI workflows.

Qualifications

• Previous Purchase Ledger experience is essential.
• Experience of supplier statement reconciliations and payment runs.
• Strong attention to detail and excellent organisational skills.
• Good Excel and accounting system knowledge.
• A proactive approach with a willingness to learn and develop.

Responsabilités

• Processing authorised purchase invoices and credit notes accurately and efficiently.
• Managing purchase orders and supporting continuous improvement of PO and GRNI processes.
• Matching delivery notes to purchase orders and ensuring part numbers are correctly recorded.
• Managing the purchase ledger inbox and ensuring documentation is authorised and processed promptly.
• Resolving supplier queries and maintaining strong supplier relationships.
• Reconciling supplier statements and investigating outstanding items.
• Managing company credit card reconciliations and postings.
• Preparing and processing weekly and monthly supplier payment runs.
• Supporting month-end close processes, including: Purchase accruals and ensuring invoices are accounted for in the correct period.
• Assisting with sales ledger processes when required.
• Supporting bank postings and reconciliations.
