Netbox Recruitment Ltd is seeking an experienced Purchase Ledger Controller in East Kent. You will take ownership of a busy finance function, overseeing the full purchase ledger process in a high-volume environment and playing a key role in process improvements.

The role reports into the finance team, with hybrid working (2 days home) and a salary between £30,000 and £38,000 depending on experience. You will work closely with suppliers and internal teams to ensure accurate accounting and timely

Formación

• Proven experience in a supervisory Purchase Ledger / Accounts Payable role.
• Strong knowledge of end-to-end AP processes and controls.
• Experience with supplier reconciliations and PAYMENTS.

Responsabilidades

• Manage high-volume invoice processing, coding, approvals and payment runs.
• Oversee supplier accounts, reconciliations and resolve discrepancies.
• Support month-end close, reconciliations and audits.
• Monitor payment requirements and assist cash-flow forecasting.
• Ensure strong financial controls and VAT/tax compliance.
• Collaborate with internal teams and suppliers to resolve issues.
• Use Excel and ERP systems to manage financial information.
• Identify opportunities to improve, streamline and automate AP.
• Help meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
