Job summary

Môrwell Talent Solutions Ltd is recruiting for an experienced Purchase Ledger Clerk for an immediate temporary assignment in Pontyclun. The role is office-based with on-site parking and offers an hourly rate of £12.82 to £14.32 plus holiday pay.

You'll work in a busy finance team, handling invoices, matching purchases, and supplier queries with accuracy. The initial contract is for at least one month, with potential extension or permanent opportunity for the right candidate.

Qualifications

• Experience in purchase ledger or accounts payable.
• Experience using Sage 50 would be advantageous.
• Excellent attention to detail and a high level of accuracy.
• Ability to manage high volumes of data entry and invoice processing.
• Methodical and organised approach with prioritisation.
• Positive, flexible attitude and team player.
• Available to start at short notice.

Responsibilities

• Processing a high volume of purchase ledger invoices manually using Sage 50.
• Accurately inputting invoices onto the finance system.
• Matching invoices against purchase orders and investigating discrepancies.
• Handling supplier queries in a professional and timely manner.
• Reconciling supplier statements and resolving outstanding issues.
• Preparing invoices for payment and ensuring all relevant information is correct.
• Providing general purchase ledger support to the wider finance team as required.
