The ideal candidate will have purchase ledger or accounts payable experience, familiarity with Sage 50, and a proactive, accurate, organised work style suitable for a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• Previous experience in a purchase ledger or accounts payable role.
• Experience using Sage 50 is advantageous.
• Excellent attention to detail and high accuracy.
• Ability to handle high volumes of data entry and invoice processing.
• Methodical, organised approach with ability to prioritise workloads.
• Positive, flexible attitude and a willingness to support colleagues within a friendly team.
• Available to start at short notice.

Responsibilities

• Processing a high volume of purchase ledger invoices manually using Sage 50.
• Accurately inputting invoices onto the finance system.
• Matching invoices against purchase orders and investigating discrepancies.
• Handling supplier queries in a professional and timely manner.
• Reconciling supplier statements and resolving outstanding issues.
• Preparing invoices for payment and ensuring information is correct.
• Providing general purchase ledger support to the wider finance team.
