Stockport-based Morson Talent is recruiting two Purchase Ledger Clerks to join a rail rolling stock client. The role focuses on invoice processing, PO queries, and supporting the SAP migration, with initial on-site training followed by hybrid working.

You'll use Excel (Pivot Tables, VLOOKUPs), investigate discrepancies, liaise with other departments, and help maintain accurate records as the finance team moves onto SAP, delivering timely resolution of queries in a busy environment.

Formación

• Experience in accounts or finance administration.
• Experience dealing with purchase orders and invoice discrepancies.
• Ability to investigate and resolve queries efficiently.
• Confident in communicating with other departments to gather information and resolve issues.
• Excellent attention to detail and accuracy in record-keeping.
• Good organisational skills and ability to manage a busy workload.
• Proactive approach with ability to work independently.
• Experience using SAP in a finance or purchase ledger environment.
• Strong Excel skills including Pivot Tables and VLOOKUPs.
• Experience with financial reporting and data management.

Responsabilidades

• Process purchase ledger invoices and support day-to-day accounts activities.
• Investigate, manage and resolve invoice queries and PO discrepancies.
• Liaise with other departments to obtain information, resolve issues and ensure queries are dealt with promptly.
• Work through a backlog of outstanding queries ahead of the SAP migration.
• Support data entry, reporting and other finance administration tasks as required.
• Maintain accurate financial records and ensure all information is correct.
• Use Excel to support reporting and query tracking, with Pivot Tables and VLOOKUPs.
• Adapt to changing priorities and support the wider finance team during a busy period.
