MCL Medics in Southport is hiring a Purchase Ledger Clerk to join the group finance team. The role focuses on processing invoices, obtaining authorisations, and entering data into the accounts system, with responsibility for processing payment runs.

You will work across the finance team to ensure smooth operations, with opportunities to develop accounting skills in other areas of the function. This is a permanent, full‑time position based at our Southport office.

Qualifications

• Accurate data input and maintenance evidenced by organised, detail‑oriented work.
• Comfortable working with numbers across stakeholders.
• Pleasant telephone manner and effective communication across media.
• Excellent IT skills, especially Microsoft 365.
• Experience with accounts systems is desirable but not essential.

Responsabilités

• Receive and process purchase invoices into the business.
• Send and chase authorisations and entry onto the accounts system.
• Process payment runs and ensure timely payments.
• Collaborate with the finance team to support service delivery.
