Purchase Ledger Clerk

Marks Sattin is currently recruiting for a Purchase Ledger Clerk on behalf of a well-established business based in North-West Leeds.

Reporting directly to the Purchase Ledger Manager, you will be part of a successful team and assist with the following responsibilities:

  1. Processing large volumes of supplier invoices
  2. Managing the Finance inbox
  3. Dealing with telephone queries
  4. Supporting with supplier and internal queries
  5. Generating supplier payment runs
  6. Performing payment and supplier reconciliations
  7. Supporting other ad hoc duties to assist the finance function

The ideal candidate will have:

  • Experience in Accounts Payable or a similar finance role
  • Ability to work under tight deadlines
  • Strong organisational skills and the ability to self-prioritise
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Experience with Sage (desirable)

Salary: £26,000

Working hours: 9am - 5:30pm, Monday to Friday

Work arrangement: 4 days in the office, 1 day at home
