This will be a varied role where you will work closely with colleagues across various departments, suppliers and subcontractors. Your responsibilities will include:

• Processing supplier invoices and credit notes.
• Matching invoices to purchase orders and supporting documentation.
• Checking coding, VAT and cost allocations.
• Reconciling supplier statements and resolving discrepancies.
• Dealing with supplier queries and maintaining accurate accounts.
• Preparing payment runs for approval.
• Supporting with month end.
• Maintaining accurate records across finance systems including SAGE 50.

Profile

• Have recent experience of working in purchase ledger - essential
• Have worked in the construction industry and has dealt with CIS/VAT - desirable
• Has used Sage - desirable
• The right to work in the UK and live within a commutable distance to Castleford, as this is an office based role - essential
