Job summary

Support Dogs is seeking a dedicated Puppy Coordinator to oversee the welfare and development of puppies from early training stages, collaborating with volunteers, trainers and carers across our Derbyshire/Nottinghamshire and Sheffield sites. You will coordinate placements, monitor progress and maintain records while helping volunteers build skills.

Some overnight and weekend duties are required to support events and programme delivery.

Qualifications

• Experience of training dogs using reward-based methods.
• Full clean driving licence is essential.

Responsibilities

• Oversee the development and welfare of puppies during the early stages of training.
• Coordinate placements and monitor progress, maintaining accurate records.
• Help volunteers develop the skills and confidence needed to prepare puppies for advanced training.
• Work with Puppy Socialisers, Foster Carers, Trainers and staff to support programme delivery.
