Shaw Education Trust is seeking a Health and Welfare Support Assistant for Ivy House School in Derbyshire. You will support pupils with enteral feeding, medication administration and general care to help them learn in a safe environment.

The role involves assisting with personal care, therapies, and classroom support within a collaborative team, with full training provided. A strong commitment to pupil well-being and learning is essential.

Qualifications

• Experience with vulnerable children/adults in education, health or care contexts desirable.
• Experience with enteral feeding and administration of enteral medication welcomed.
• Full training and competencies will be provided.

Responsibilities

• Safely administer enteral feeding and support administration of medication.
• Support pupils with personal and intimate care and physical needs.
• Assist with therapies such as rebound and hydrotherapy.
• Provide classroom support and work as part of a team.
