Ivy House School, a special school for pupils aged 2-19, invites applications for a Casual Teaching Assistant to join the team. You will support pupils with learning, health needs and welfare, under the direction of teaching staff, in classroom or outdoor settings.
The school emphasises an individualised curriculum and supportive environment. Successful applicants will have NVQ2 or equivalent experience and a motivation to work with children and young people.
An exciting opportunity has become available for a Teaching Assistant to join the Ivy House team on a casual basis.
You will work under the direct instruction of teaching staff, usually in the classroom with the teacher. Providing specific support to the teacher in the care of pupils and management of the classroom. Work may be undertaken in the classroom or outside the main teaching area.
