Job summary

IMT Resourcing Solutions Ltd. in Coleford, Gloucestershire, seeks an experienced Mechanical Fitter to assemble industrial pumps powered by electric motors or diesel engines.

You will work from engineering drawings and BOMs, ensuring assemblies meet quality and safety standards. The role requires an engineering apprenticeship or NVQ Level 3 or equivalent with several years of mechanical fitting experience, plus strong drawing-reading and teamwork skills.

Qualifications

• Engineering apprenticeship, NVQ Level 3 or equivalent, with at least three years' relevant experience; or a minimum of five years' mechanical fitting experience.
• Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings.
• Strong attention to detail and a methodical approach.
• A proactive attitude and ability to work as part of a team.

Responsibilities

• Assemble bare-shaft pumps and electric/diesel skid sets.
• Read and interpret engineering drawings and bills of materials.
• Identify and report assembly or quality issues.
• Complete production documentation and inspection check sheets.
• Work with production, quality and testing teams.
• Follow health and safety procedures.
