Job summary

DW Connect - Recruitment Specialists is recruiting for a Pump Engineer on behalf of a large group of pump companies. The role is field-based across the South East and around the M25, handling installation and maintenance of booster and submersible pumps.

You will attend sites, perform routine maintenance, and support with required tasks while upholding health and safety standards. A driving licence and physical fitness are essential for success.

Qualifications

• Previous pumping experience is essential.
• Experience with installation and maintenance of pumps is required.
• Must be physically fit for outdoor manual work in varying weather.
• Valid driving licence is essential.

Responsibilities

• Installation of pumps as part of a field service team.
• Attending sites to complete routine service and repair tasks.
• Carrying out routine maintenance on tools and machinery for safety and efficiency.
• Assisting with other tasks and ensuring safety regulations are followed.
• Collaborating with team to meet project deadlines and maintain a tidy site.

Job description

We are recruiting on behalf of our client who are a large group, who are made up of 4 pump companies in different sectors They are seeking a reliable, hardworking and experienced Pump Engineer to join their team.

This role involves assisting with various install, and maintenance tasks. You would be working on Booster Pumps and Submersible Pumps.

Responsibilities -

• Installation of various types of pumps in south or England.
• Attending sites to complete routine service maintenance tasks and repair
• Conducting routine maintenance on tools and machinery to ensure safety and efficiency
• Assisting with any other tasks required by the business
• Ensuring compliance with health and safety regulations at all times
• Collaborating with team members to complete projects within deadlines
• Maintaining a tidy work environment to promote safety and productivity

Experience

• Previous experience essential.
• Familiarity with mechanical knowledge and the use of hand tools or power tools is advantageous
• Experience of pump installation and maintenance
• Physical fitness and the ability to perform manual labour outdoors in various weather conditions are required
• A proactive attitude with good organisational skills and attention to detail is essential for success in this role
• Driving Licence essential

Pay: £45k-£50k per annum
