Job summary

Verto People Ltd seeks a Service Technician / Workshop Engineer / Pump Engineer to repair, service and commission industrial pumps. The role is workshop-based with occasional field visits across the South UK, including London, Surrey, Hampshire and Somerset.

Applicants should have mechanical bias, pump experience, and the ability to read drawings. A UK driving licence and willingness to travel are essential; a relevant engineering qualification is advantageous.

Qualifications

• Experience as a Service Technician or Workshop Engineer with a mechanical bias.
• Willingness to work on wastewater/sewage pumps.
• Ability to read engineering drawings and schematics.
• Full UK driving licence and willingness to travel within the South UK.
• Engineering qualification or mechanical apprenticeship advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Repair, service, commissioning and maintenance of industrial pumps, mainly in the workshop.
• Occasional field visits to customer sites across London, Surrey, Hampshire & Somerset.
• Install pumps and monitor performance; diagnose faults.
• Coordinate with other engineering teams as required.
