Job summary

Spirit Health is seeking a Pulmonary Rehabilitation Technical Instructor to deliver and support face-to-face and virtual pulmonary rehabilitation across South and South East Staffordshire.

You’ll deliver and support group exercise, education and advice sessions, monitor progress and outcome measures, and provide responsive patient communication and essential administrative support to the wider multidisciplinary team.

Qualifications

• Experience working with adults and the public in a health or social care setting, ideally within a community environment.
• Experience supporting or teaching individuals and groups, face-to-face and/or virtually.
• Understanding of rehabilitation/reablement and an interest in respiratory care.
• Comfortable working within delegated plans, following protocols and recognising when to seek support.
• Available to work every Monday.

Responsibilities

• Deliver and support group exercise, education and advice sessions.
• Help patients build confidence in managing respiratory conditions and monitor progress.
• Complete outcome measures and provide responsive patient communication and essential administrative support to the wider multidisciplinary team.
• Work independently within agreed competencies and protocols, while knowing when to ask for help.
• Communicate with patients, carers, colleagues and partner services with empathy and professionalism.
