Job summary

Oxford Health NHS Trust seeks a B3 Pulmonary Rehabilitation assistant to join the Pulmonary Rehabilitation team. The role focuses on supporting clinicians to deliver rehabilitation in community settings, mainly gyms, across Oxfordshire.

You will help deliver exercise support, provide patient education, and assist with admin tasks to keep groups running smoothly. A driving licence is required for county-wide travel.

Qualifications

• Public-facing care or health setting experience.
• Experience using electronic patient records.
• Experience in rehabilitation or exercise settings.

Responsibilities

• Support clinicians to prepare and run rehabilitation groups.
• Provide advice, teaching and instruction to patients and carers.
• Assist in equipment preparation and exercise supervision.
• Record observations during exercise and escalate concerns to clinicians.
• Deliver education on breathlessness management and healthy lifestyles.
