Allstaff Recruitment is currently seeking a Publishing Sales Manager based in Milton Keynes for a print publishing company on a maternity cover basis.

Summary of the Publishing Sales Manager role…

Salary: competitive
Location: Milton Keynes
Type of Contract: Permanent, Full time
Hours: 37.5-hour working week, hybrid (1 day per week)

Responsibilities of the Publishing Sales Manager:
  1. Managing existing accounts and developing new business.
  2. Making cold calls and presentations to target leads.
  3. Working with the marketing department to generate leads.
  4. Negotiating pricing and contracts.
  5. Maximising revenue and inventory opportunities.
Requirements for a successful Publishing Sales Manager:
  1. Proven sales professional with experience in B2B sales and meeting targets.
  2. Working knowledge and experience of the publishing, media, or book industry is preferred.
  3. Account management and new business development skills are essential.
  4. Excellent interpersonal and negotiation skills.
  5. Strong IT skills, with intermediate proficiency in Word and Excel.
  6. Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
