Job summary

A project management role within Allscreens Nationwide Ltd’s Publishing Services team focuses on coordinating non-design production tasks to ensure high-quality educational materials. You will oversee timelines, budgets and supplier coordination for books, interactive PDFs, web screens and eBooks.

The role requires meticulous attention to detail, clear communication, and the ability to handle tight deadlines while maintaining client standards. Experience with Adobe CC and MS 365 is advantageous.

Qualifications

  • Experience coordinating editorial/educational materials.
  • Ability to manage suppliers and timelines.
  • Knowledge of proofing and QA processes.
  • Familiarity with project management tools.
  • Experience in publishing workflows is advantageous.

Responsibilities

  • Interpret client briefs and resource plans to deliver client requirements.
  • Manage packaging and production with external suppliers/contractors.
  • Commission and manage suppliers, check briefs and timelines, assess quality.
  • Communicate with colleagues during production to ensure accuracy and availability.
  • Manage costs and schedules to meet deadlines, budgets and standards.
  • Maintain awareness of business objectives and how projects fit into the studio pipeline.
  • Keep up to date with project management tools/techniques.
  • Maintain knowledge of suppliers and their impact on delivery and cost.
  • Check Designers’ work for accuracy and integrity of design elements.
  • Carry out instructions on proofs for editorial corrections and non-design changes.
  • Format text and images in Word, checking for accuracy.
  • Assist media team with picture research using internet sources.
