The post holder will coordinate the operational activities involved in the provision and development of transport services and infrastructure, information, and the customer proposition across our bus network.
Cheshire West and Chester Council seeks an enthusiastic and committed individual to join our Strategic Transport and Infrastructure team.
This role will shape the future of transport across the borough, working to deliver our ambitious Bus Service Improvement Plan (BSIP) and recent funding allocations. It will support our emerging Local Transport Plan, the Borough Plan, and our commitments to climate and poverty reduction.
You will collaborate with our Enhanced Partnership, stakeholders, and operators to develop sustainable travel networks that address social deprivation and isolation, improve connectivity to employment and education, and unlock opportunities for all.
This is an opportunity to gain broad experience in policy development, local bus, and rail projects, and to be at the forefront of driving change in sustainable transport.
If you have a successful track record in delivering local bus projects, excel at building strong stakeholder relationships, and are passionate about the impact of sustainable transport, we would love to hear from you!
