Job summary

The Bedford College Group invites applications for a Lecturer in Public Services based in Kettering. You will join the Sport, Public Service and Travel department, delivering tailored learning programmes and ensuring full syllabus coverage across vocational areas.

We seek a candidate with a QTLS or equivalent teaching qualification, an Assessor Award, and Level 3+ in maths or English, plus at least 3 years of teaching experience using varied methods and technology.

Qualifications

• Holds or is working towards a teaching qualification (QTLS).
• Assessor Award and Level 3+ in maths or English are required or desirable.
• Minimum of 3 years’ teaching experience across vocational areas using diverse methods.

Responsibilities

• Plan and prepare learning programmes, lessons and resources.
• Deliver engaging, inclusive lessons and manage classrooms.
• Assess and provide feedback to support learner progression.
• Contribute to course development, quality improvement and pastoral duties.
