Job summary

The Bedford College Group invites applications for a Lecturer in Public Services at Tresham College, Kettering. You will design and deliver vocational Public Services courses, planning work experience and ensuring syllabus coverage.

Role requires teaching experience, QTLS or commitment, and current maths/english capability, with a focus on inclusive learning and quality enhancement across the department.

Qualifications

• Qualified teacher status (QTLS) or working towards it.
• Assessor Award holder or gaining equivalent assessment expertise.
• Level 3+ in maths or English with up-to-date vocational skills.

Responsibilities

• Plan and prepare learning programmes, lessons and resources tailored to learners’ needs including work experience.
• Deliver safe, engaging, and inclusive lessons with differentiated activities and clear progression.
• Conduct initial assessments, set and mark assignments, maintain records and provide constructive feedback.
