The role focuses on transforming secured, scalable networks, including SD‑WAN, NGFW, segmentation, cloud security, and SOC integration. You will collaborate with account teams and partners to design solutions that meet operational, compliance, and budget requirements while staying ahead of evolving public sector threats.

Qualifications

• Experience in pre-sales engineering or technical consulting.
• Knowledge of NGFW, SD‑WAN, segmentation, and cloud security.
• Experience supporting Local Authorities or Local Government.
• Strong communication for technical and non-technical public sector stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Lead technical engagements with Local Government customers across the full sales lifecycle.
• Translate requirements into secure, scalable Fortinet architectures aligned to budgets and constraints.
• Deliver demonstrations, whiteboarding sessions, and technical briefings for Local Government environments.
• Support secure network transformation projects including SD‑WAN, NGFW, segmentation, cloud security, and SOC integration.
• Work with partners, procurement frameworks, and internal teams for successful delivery and adoption.
• Maintain expertise across Fortinet’s portfolio and UK Public Sector security standards.
