Job summary

Kainos in Southampton seeks a Principal Product Manager for the Public Sector to lead and assure major engagements from concept to delivery. You will shape product strategies and business cases, driving Agile transformation and user‑centred delivery.

You will coach and develop senior staff, manage performance, and build strong relationships with C‑level stakeholders while translating business needs into actionable requirements.

Qualifications

• Extensive knowledge of Product Management, UX, Agile and Programme Assurance.
• Experience in two major verticals including Public Sector.
• Experience with two business application environments (CRM, eCommerce).
• Experience communicating with C-Level stakeholders and mentoring clients.
• Strong team leadership and line management.
• Expert facilitator driving outcomes from diverse stakeholders.
• Able to plan and lead consulting engagements end-to-end.
• Excellent commercial awareness and understanding of project dynamics.
• Adaptable and able to lead in changing environments.
• Strong verbal and written communication across stakeholders.
• Translate business requirements into functional specifications.
