Job summary

INDOTRONIX AVANI UK, LTD in Crawley is seeking a Procurement Specialist on a hybrid 6+ month assignment. You will manage end-to-end procurement activities, ensuring compliance with the Procurement Act 2023 and PCR 2015, including sourcing, tendering, negotiations, contract management and commercial evaluations.

The role requires independent delivery while coordinating with internal stakeholders and suppliers, utilising public sector frameworks and e-tendering systems to achieve value for money

Qualifications

• Public sector procurement experience across government bodies or regulators.
• Strong knowledge of the Procurement Act 2023 and PCR 2015 with practical application.
• Proven track record in end-to-end tendering from requirements to contract award.
• Experience in supplier negotiations, contract terms and performance.
• Ability to engage senior stakeholders and challenge requirements when needed.
• Familiarity with public sector frameworks and e-tendering systems.

Responsibilities

• Lead end-to-end procurement life cycle including market engagement, sourcing, tender docs, bid evaluation, negotiations and contract award.
• Ensure compliance with Procurement Act 2023, PCR 2015 and government policies.
• Assess supplier bids, pricing, risks and value-for-money.
• Manage contracts, KPI tracking, renewals and supplier relationships.
• Collaborate with internal teams and provide procurement guidance.
• Utilise public sector frameworks and e-tendering systems.
• Identify and drive cost savings and commercial improvements.
• Maintain procurement records, spend reports and governance.
