Job summary

Tatton Recruitment seeks an experienced Procurement Manager to lead end-to-end procurement activities across goods and services in a regulated environment. Hybrid working arrangement and a 6-month contract through March 2027 are on offer.

The role requires proven procurement, sourcing and contract management experience, with knowledge of public sector regulations (Procurement Act 2023 and PCR 2015). Strong commercial acumen and stakeholder management are essential.

Qualifications

• Proven experience in procurement, sourcing and contract management.
• Knowledge of public sector procurement regulations including Procurement Act 2023 and/or PCR 2015.
• Strong commercial, negotiation and stakeholder management skills.
• Experience using procurement, P2P and eTendering systems.
• MCIPS qualification desirable (preferred).

Responsibilities

• Manage the full procurement lifecycle, including sourcing, tendering, supplier negotiations, contract award and contract management.
• Ensure compliance with public sector procurement regulations and internal governance requirements.
• Lead commercial evaluations, delivering value for money and mitigating commercial risk.
• Build strong relationships with stakeholders and provide expert procurement advice.
• Manage supplier performance, contract renewals and continuous improvement initiatives.
• Identify and deliver cost-saving opportunities.
