TLT is recruiting a Associate to join the Public Sector Contracts and Procurement team. The role is based in Manchester or Birmingham with hybrid working to support work-life balance.

You will advise on public procurement, draft and review ITTs, notices, and contract documents, and support litigation matters. The team handles national projects across central government, agencies, and local authorities.

Qualifications

• Qualified lawyer with UK public procurement law experience.
• Experience advising on procurement processes and drafting key documentation (ITTs, notices).
• Experience with tender procedures (open, restricted, negotiated, competitive dialogue) and procurement portals.
• Ability to draft, review and manage contracts and framework agreements.
• Understanding of value for money and whole-life costing.
• Familiarity with Cabinet Office guidance and Government Commercial Function standards.
• Strong communication and organisational skills.
• Able to work across multi-office teams and independently.

Responsabilités

• Provide public procurement law and contract advice to public sector clients.
• Draft, review, and manage procurement documents and contracts.
• Support procurement litigators on challenges and disputes.
• Collaborate across offices to meet tight deadlines and project needs.
• Contribute to business development and internal/external client training.
