Job summary

DWF is recruiting an experienced Senior Associate to join our Government and Public Sector practice. You will advise central, devolved and local government bodies on public law, governance and procurement, and draft complex contracts.

The role is based in one of our regional offices (Birmingham, Manchester, Leeds, Newcastle or Liverpool) with a flexible hybrid working approach. You will develop client relationships, mentor junior lawyers, and contribute to business development.

Qualifications

• Qualified solicitor with public law and procurement experience.
• Experience advising central, devolved and local government bodies.
• Strong drafting and written communication skills; negotiation confidence.
• Ability to build client relationships and work collaboratively.

Responsibilities

• Advise public sector bodies on public law and governance issues.
• Draft and review complex contracts and procurement documents.
