Blake Morgan in Cardiff seeks a Partner, Legal Director or senior lawyer to lead our public sector litigation offering. You will drive procurement and governance dispute work, with a focus on Welsh public bodies and complex procurement matters.

You will build client relationships, contribute to business development, and help shape a distinctive public sector practice from Cardiff, collaborating across litigation, regulatory, public law and commercial teams.

Qualifications

• Significant experience of procurement litigation in public sector contexts.
• Experience advising public bodies, suppliers or contractors on complex matters.
• Strong understanding of commercial contracts and governance-related disputes.
• Proven track record developing client relationships and practice growth.
• Ability to lead matters strategically across teams.
• Some leadership experience managing others.
• Understanding of the Welsh public sector landscape is beneficial.
• Established client following is advantageous but not essential.
