Job summary

The successful candidate will be an experienced Corporate Partner or senior lawyer ready to take the next step to lead the department, working closely with senior leadership to drive strategic direction.

Qualifications

• Significant experience in mergers, disposals and investments.
• Strong technical ability with commercial judgement.
• Proven ability to lead transactions and advise senior owners.
• Ability to build long-term client relationships.
• Leadership to grow and develop the Corporate team.
• Credibility to be a senior figure in South Wales markets.

Responsibilities

• Lead and direct the established Corporate practice.
• Develop client relationships and pipeline.
• Advise on acquisitions, disposals, restructurings.
• Mentor and develop junior lawyers.
• Collaborate with other firm teams to broaden client base.
• Shape the firm's commercial strategy in South Wales.
