Job summary

The Graduate Project Limited is recruiting an experienced HR Consultant to support a local authority through a significant programme of organisational change. Working with senior leaders, you will provide practical HR advice and lead the people aspects of a major service restructure.

You will support the development of proposals, guide managers through consultation and help implement new structures while maintaining service continuity.

Qualifications

• Substantial experience providing HR consultancy or senior HR advisory support.
• Proven track record of delivering organisational restructures and change programmes.
• Strong knowledge of UK employment legislation, particularly consultation, redundancy and organisational change.
• Experience supporting senior managers through complex and sensitive employment matters.
• Excellent communication, stakeholder management and organisational skills.
• Local government experience would be particularly beneficial.

Responsibilities

• Lead the HR aspects of a major service restructure.
• Work with senior leaders to develop and implement organisational change proposals.
• Advise managers on consultation requirements, employee engagement and employment procedures.
• Support consultation meetings and maintain clear communication with employees and stakeholders.
• Ensure restructuring activities comply with employment legislation and organisational policies.
• Support the implementation of new structures and working arrangements.
