Job summary

4Recruitment Services Ltd is urgently recruiting an experienced HR Consultant for an Essex local authority on a hybrid basis. The role focuses on leading a large-scale Housing Service restructure programme and advising through the consultation process to minimise disruption.

Working with the Executive Director of Housing and senior leaders, you will guide organisational change, ensuring compliance with UK employment law and smooth delivery during this critical transformation.

Qualifications

• Significant experience as an HR Consultant, preferably in local government.
• Proven ability to lead and support organisational restructures and change programmes.
• Strong knowledge of UK employment legislation relating to change, consultation and redundancy.

Responsibilities

• Lead and support the delivery of a large-scale Housing Service restructure programme.
• Partner with senior leaders to develop and implement restructuring proposals.
• Support managers through the change process, including consultation meetings and employee engagement activities.
• Ensure the successful implementation and embedding of the new organisational structure.
• Maintain effective communication with stakeholders and employees throughout the programme.
