Job summary

Westone Housing Ltd is seeking an experienced Project Manager to lead social housing adaptations and planned works from our Peterborough office. You will manage multiple contracts with housing associations and Local Authorities, coordinating adaptations, repairs and refurbishments to deliver safe, on-time, and high-quality outcomes.

Based in Peterborough, you will visit sites regularly, supervise subcontractors and labour, control costs and programmes, and report progress to clients.

Qualifications

• Previous experience managing housing refurbishment, maintenance or adaptation projects.
• Experience with Local Authorities, Housing Associations or Social Housing providers.
• Strong knowledge of domestic refurbishment and maintenance works.
• Understanding of housing adaptations and accessibility improvements.
• Experience managing subcontractors and direct labour.
• Strong organisational and project planning skills.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office and digital project management tools.
• Full UK Driving Licence.

Responsibilities

• Manage projects from instruction through to practical completion.
• Deliver projects safely, on programme, within budget and to agreed quality standards.
• Plan and coordinate labour, materials, subcontractors and specialist trades.
• Liaise with Local Authority and Housing Association clients on a regular basis.
• Build and maintain positive relationships with residents and stakeholders.
• Ensure all works comply with contractual obligations, specifications and building regulations.
• Undertake site inspections, progress meetings and quality audits.
• Manage project costs, variations and financial performance.
• Monitor and report on contract KPI performance.
• Identify and resolve operational and delivery challenges.
• Ensure compliance with CDM Regulations, Health and Safety legislation and company procedures.
• Support the pricing and scoping of additional works where required.
• Produce progress reports and attend client review meetings.
