Job summary

Proofpoint, a global leader in human-centric cybersecurity, seeks an experienced Sales Director to lead our Public Sector Enterprise Account Team across the UK. You will recruit and grow a high-performing field sales force, close executive-level opportunities, and shape regional strategy with cross-functional partners to deliver sustainable growth.

Reporting to EMEA leadership, you will forecast pipeline, drive MEDDIC/Challenger methodologies, and collaborate with Sales Engineering, Professional

Qualifications

• Experience building large organizations at scale in the Public Sector (central and regional).
• Familiarity with cyber security market and current threat landscape.
• Proven ability to use consultative, value-based sales methodologies (Force Management, Challenger Sales, MEDDIC).

Responsibilities

• Lead sales for new and existing enterprise customers, achieving revenue targets.
• Define and report metrics, forecast deals, and manage deals and objections.
• Recruit, lead, coach and inspire a senior sales team across the UK Public Sector.
• Collaborate with Sales Engineering, Professional Services, Marketing and Support to close deals.
