Job summary

Government Digital Service seeks a Senior Delivery Manager to lead cross-functional delivery teams, ensuring products and services meet user needs and are delivered at pace within a complex public sector landscape.

You will partner with product and technical leads, adopt lean and agile practices, coach delivery managers, and communicate with senior stakeholders to drive continual improvement and strategic alignment across government.

Qualifications

• Significant track record delivering digital projects in complex environments.
• Experience applying agile practices to ensure iterative, timely delivery of products and services.
• Ability to facilitate workshops and produce concrete outputs that enable delivery.

Responsibilities

• Lead and motivate multiple multi-disciplinary teams, enabling them to deliver timely products and services that meet users’ needs.
• Co-create and co-own plans using lean/agile practices, and communicate status to senior stakeholders and users.
• Provide useful delivery metrics to facilitate continual improvement.
• Foster an inclusive team environment where innovation and challenge are welcomed by all colleagues.
• Delivery to agreed goals, proactively addressing impediments, risks and blockers, and escalating where necessary.
