Job summary

Spinwell Ltd is seeking a Contracts Manager for a public sector contract based in the UK. The role is hybrid with 3 days in the Birmingham or London office.

The contract runs until the end of March 2027 with a daily pay rate of £500 through an intermediary and BPSS clearance. You will oversee a portfolio of corporate contracts, drive governance, risk management and performance reporting, and liaise with stakeholders to ensure value for money and compliance.

Responsibilities

• Manage a portfolio of corporate contracts
• Progress change requests through governance structures and with client functions
• Proactively monitor and mitigate risks across contracts
• Liaise with stakeholders on progress, spend and performance reporting
• Manage formal disputes
• Undertake compliance checks against contracts
• Aim for value for money at each stage of the contract
• Produce and implement contract management plans
• Oversee contract mobilisation, transition and exit
• Monitor performance and administer service credits and warranties
• Review supplier financial standing and act on resulting actions
• Additional duties such as analysing commercial/technical information
• Set up meetings and share information with other functions
• Develop reports for key stakeholders
• Provide ad hoc support to high-profile projects
• Promote Equality Diversity and Inclusion (EDI) in all work
