Job summary

Salesforce is seeking a high-performing Contracts Manager to join our Public Sector Legal team. You will lead the management of government contracts, ensuring compliance with Procurement Act 2023 and related regulations, and serve as the liaison between Salesforce and Government Contract Managers.

This role focuses on driving contract maturity, pricing governance, and cross-functional collaboration across Legal, Finance, and Deal Strategy to scale our public sector business.

Qualifications

• 7-10+ years of combined experience managing government contracts within the public sector or a commercial tech/software entity.
• Operational knowledge of Procurement Act 2023 and Procurement Regulations 2024, including associated statutory guidance and procedures.
• Industry focus on Software-as-a-Service (SaaS) and professional services contracting.
• Strong background in government financial workflows, including pricing structures and invoicing systems.

Responsibilities

• Lead the end-to-end lifecycle of government contracts, ensuring compliance with applicable regulations and internal policies.
• Manage contract execution and other contract management activities.
• Coordinate with other teams on order conversions and pricing verifications.
• Collaborate with Accounts Payable/Receivable regarding contract invoicing, payments, and administrative systems.
• Partner with Legal and Deal Strategy to maintain product/pricing catalogues and resolve contract performance issues with government managers.
• Guide internal stakeholders on public sector procurement, identifying risks and implementing mitigation strategies.
• Evaluate existing corporate agreements to identify bottlenecks and propose scalable, strategic solutions.
• Act as a Subject Matter Expert delivering high-value training on public sector procurement processes and best practices.
• Drive continuous process improvements in legal workflows, contracting tools, and governance strategies.
