The Metropolitan Police Service is recruiting Commercial Analysts to support sourcing, procurement, contract management, supplier management and commercial analysis across the DDaT and CaPS pillars. This public sector role offers the chance to develop strong analytical and commercial skills within a high-profile organisation.

The role is based at Kilburn Police Station (NW6), three days per week, with occasional travel across the Met estate.

Formación

• Experience working in an analytical, commercial, procurement, contracts, finance, or business support environment.
• Strong data analysis and reporting skills.
• Excellent organisational and administrative abilities.
• Strong communication and stakeholder management skills.
• The ability to work collaboratively within a fast-paced environment.
• Confidence working with data and producing insights to support decision-making.

Responsabilidades

• Providing administrative and operational support across commercial projects and business-as-usual activity.
• Supporting sourcing and procurement exercises, including market engagement and evaluating procurement routes.
• Assisting with contract and supplier management activities, monitoring supplier performance, and maintaining supplier relationships.
• Helping develop category strategies and ensuring contract compliance.
• Maintaining commercial catalogues and records within commercial systems.
• Producing spend analysis and commercial reporting to identify efficiency, value-for-money, and improvement opportunities.
• Providing commercial support and guidance to internal stakeholders across the business.
• Supporting the delivery of innovative commercial solutions that meet operational requirements.
