Job summary

VANRATH is assisting a large Public Sector Organisation in Ballymena to recruit a Building Maintenance Project Manager for an initial 6-month period with a view to extension or permanency. The role oversees maintenance across the estate, coordinating with technicians and contractors, while managing budgets and ensuring safety compliance.

Qualifications

• Mandatory experience in building maintenance or estates management.
• Ability to interpret plans and prepare specifications.

Responsibilities

• Manage maintenance across the Client's estate and ensure efficient operation
• Coordinate with Client's Technicians and external contractors
• Monitor budgets, estimate costs, and certify payments
• Prepare and supervise health and safety compliance across works
• Carry out surveys and document maintenance needs for planned programs
• Provide financial and technical guidance to property users

Education

HNC/HND or equivalent in Building Studies

ONC or equivalent in Building Studies

5+ years in Building Maintenance/Estates or 3+ years in Building Construction
