Account Manager Public Sector

Job Role Responsibilities

  1. Achieve or exceed sales targets as discussed with manager
  2. Proactively develop sales opportunities and understand customer requirements
  3. Win new business supported by Public Sector bid team
  4. Grow and develop existing account base
  5. Collaborate with pre-sales team to lead messaging and offerings with customers
  6. Manage customer, supplier, and distribution relationships (manage your network)
  7. Be responsible for pipeline management
  8. Stay at the forefront of technology developments and discuss this with public sector customers
Job Requirements

You must be self-motivated and hardworking with a minimum of good GCSEs or equivalent in English and Maths. A-Levels are desirable but not essential. You should be highly organized, detail-oriented, and possess a positive, helpful attitude. Ability to take direction and use initiative is important, along with enthusiasm and self-motivation. Knowledge of MS Word and MS Excel is beneficial but not mandatory. The company values teamwork and a 'can do' attitude.
