Job summary

KnoWho is seeking a PR Account Executive for Congleton to join a 40-person agency with a dedicated PR team. You will write press releases, research clients and sectors, and liaise with journalists locally and nationally.

PR Account Executive - Congleton - B2C / B2B / Public Relations / Press Releases

We\'re looking for a PR Account Executive (from junior / graduate to senior) for an agency in Congleton.

A 40 person agency, with a PR team of 6 experienced professionals, they are looking for someone ambitious who is looking to develop, progress, and learn from an experienced team.

Role overview:

• Writing - Press releases mainly and then repurposing for different forms and outlets.
• Sector and client research and analysis - research and development into clients, their competitors and their sector for PR opportunities, awards and content.
• Contact with journalists both locally and nationally.
• Content development and production in line with clients brand guidelines.
• Collaboration with internal teams to deliver campaigns effectively.
• Manage multiple campaigns and clients.

Role overviews:

Junior Account Executive - £24-26K - looking for someone with a degree, apprenticeship, or similar who can showcase good writing skills, a positive attitude, and a willingness to learn.

Account Executive - £26-28K - looking for someone with experience in PR who wants to progress and can showcase draft/write press releases & content, plan & execute small campaigns and support AM-ADs with account work.

Senior Account Executive £28-31K - looking for someone who can look after smaller accounts & manage clients, leads on some campaigns, gives creative input, confidently writes press releases & content, and is a proactive member of the team.

You\'ll be joining an established PR team, with 6 members all Senior Account Manager and above, with a track record of taking graduates and juniors all the was to Senior Account Manager & Account Director. You\'ll have support and mentorship from the team and get one-to-one contact in within a company who pride themselves on employee training, development and progression.

They offer full funding for your Chartered Institute of PR (CIPR) membership and training, as well as team training sessions, external courses and companywide training too. They have an open progression plan so that all employees can see markers for progression into the next job title.

Office in central Congleton, the PR team are mostly office based.
