Our award-winning PR team is looking for a B2B Account Director

The Think Tank is a 40 person strong integrated marketing agency based in Holborn and, as a fast growing business, we need a strategic, creative senior PR professional.

We’re looking for a London based PR account director to be part of our supportive, results-focused team of media relations practitioners. B2B, Corporate or Tech PR experience is essential.

This role has a day-to-day focus on client and people management, you’re responsible for delivering the strategic priorities for your accounts and you’ll nurture the team to execute, while providing client counsel, and be seen as their trusted PR advisor.

About You

  • At least 5 years’ experience gained in a PR agency
  • Experience running both a team and successful PR campaigns – with the ability to motivate colleagues identify challenges
  • A proven track record in B2B, corporate or technology PR and able to show the results
  • A news hound with a passion for current affairs and the proven ability to ‘newsjack’
  • Superb writing ability with the flexibility to craft copy from pithy comments, press releases, social posts and thought provoking op-eds
  • Great media contacts along with superb project and event management skills, you’ll also be keen to act as a coach to junior colleagues – demonstrating how to leverage the contacts and relationships you’ve developed over the years and show the junior team how to nurture these themselves
  • A self-starter, with the ability to motivate yourself and your colleagues to achieve amazing results
  • A supportive leader with a desire to help junior colleagues develop their skills, through a coaching approach
  • Competency around digital and social media and an understanding of influencer campaigns
  • The right to work in the UK
  • Excellent written and spoken English

The Role:

  • This is senior role and you will need to be seen as the account lead
  • Day-to-day key client interaction as well as team and project management to ensure results are achieved
  • Responsibility for client commercials and spotting opportunities to grow the clients’ business, as well as identifying and developing new business opportunities
  • You’ll be confident taking a monthly and quarterly view to planning and execution
  • Be able to juggle - as you’ll simultaneously manage multiple projects and clients and ensure delivery against targets
  • Responsibility for client commercials and spotting opportunities to grow the clients’ business, as well as identifying and developing new business opportunities
  • Ongoing collaboration with your senior team to develop and implement campaign strategy
  • New business involvement, proposal writing and strategy development

  • We work in a hybrid way and the role requires two days a week at our Central London office
