Job summary

TLT LLP is recruiting an Associate to join its Public Sector Contracts and Procurement team in Manchester (or Birmingham). The role focuses on public procurement advice to central government and agencies, with a hybrid working pattern to support work-life balance.

You will work with leading lawyers on a broad range of procurement work, including drafting, negotiations, and contract lifecycle management. The team advises on CCS panels and national projects across multiple offices.

Qualifications

• Qualified lawyer with NQ+ status and public procurement experience.
• Experience advising on procurement processes and drafting key documents (e.g. ITTs, specifications and notices).
• Familiarity with procurement portals such as Jaggaer and Proactis.

Responsibilities

• Provide public procurement law and contract advice to public sector clients.
• Advise on procurement strategy and drafting procurement documentation.
• Draft, review, and manage contracts, framework agreements, and call-off arrangements.
• Support procurement litigators in challenges and disputes.
• Collaborate with Partners across multi-office teams and support business development.
