Job summary

ICF is seeking social researchers/public policy consultants to join our established practice that develops, analyses and evaluates UK Government policies across education, employment, communities, youth and families. From day one you will contribute to a range of influential projects across the UK.

Your responsibilities include conducting interviews and focus groups, analysing qualitative and quantitative data, and generating insightful findings with descriptive texts and data visualisations.

Qualifications

• Relevant degree in social policy or research methods.
• 1-2 years experience in qualitative/quantitative research for analyst roles; 3+ years for consultant roles.
• Strong interest in UK policy and evidence-based policy making.
• Excellent English (oral and written).
• Good time management and multitasking.

Responsibilities

• Carry out research and analyse academic and policy literature.
• Conduct interviews and focus groups; write up analyses.
• Analyse quantitative data using appropriate tools.
• Prepare descriptive texts and data visualisations.
• Provide research and admin support to team.
