Job summary

ICF is seeking an experienced Consulting Director to join our UK practice. You will lead evaluation projects for government departments, focusing on education, employment, youth and families. The role blends strategy, technical leadership, and business development in a fast-paced environment.

You will manage a team of evaluators, engage with senior clients, and help grow a robust consulting portfolio while delivering high-quality outputs and insightful recommendations.

Qualifications

• Experience delivering UK policy research and evaluation across education, employment, youth or families.
• Proven track record of leading large, complex research and evaluation projects.
• Ability to draft high-quality reports and advise government officials.

Responsibilities

• Develop and proactively manage our education and employment strategy.
• Lead proposals for new work, including team building, methodologies and budgets.
• Direct projects, provide technical leadership, and oversee delivery of outputs.
• Build long-term client relationships and identify growth opportunities.
• Lead bids and contribute to pitches, with strong market knowledge.
