About The Role And Team

Leading at Uber means setting direction in motion, not waiting for perfect conditions. As the Public Policy Manager, you will oversee our efforts to proactively tell the story of how Uber positively contributes to the communities we serve. This is a high-stakes leadership role where you will drive the legislative reforms necessary to ensure Uber remains a reliable platform for earners, riders, and eaters.

The environment is fast-paced and requires you to execute on high priority initiatives amidst significant ambiguity. You will carry the weight of decisions that matter, navigating complex cross-functional relationships with Marketing, Social Impact, and Research teams. This role is for a strategic problem solver who leads with clarity and heart, thriving in the challenge of shaping the future of mobility and delivery.

What You'll Do

Basic Qualifications
  • 7 + years of experience in public policy, government affairs, or regulatory advocacy within a corporate or government setting.
  • Bachelor's degree

  • Demonstrated record of leading multi-team projects with high levels of ambiguity.
  • Exceptional stakeholder management skills with the ability to earn trust fast across diverse internal and external groups.

  • Strong storytelling and communication skills to effectively represent the team to executives.
