Job summary

London School of Hygiene & Tropical Medicine invites applications for a full-time fixed-term role in the Department of Public Health, Environments & Society. The post holder will lead administrative coordination and financial management for the department’s research projects, supporting the PI and coordinating with partner institutions.

Based in London, 35 hours per week, with a salary of £39,984–£45,728 per annum pro rata, plus 30 days leave pro rata, Wellbeing Days and a Pension Scheme.

Qualifications

• Higher education to degree level or equivalent or substantial relevant experience.
• Experience monitoring large budgets and preparing costings, projections and reports.
• Experience managing large complex grants is advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Lead and be responsible for administrative coordination and financial management for the department's research projects.
• Provide guidance on management from funding costings to project set up, management and closure.
• Liaise with PI and partner institutions as required.
