Cambridgeshire County Council is seeking a Public Health Officer to join the Prevention and Inclusion Team. You will help develop and deliver programmes to improve health and reduce inequalities across Cambridgeshire.
Working with NHS organisations, district councils and providers, you will coordinate projects, monitor progress, analyse data and contribute to policy and practice. A degree or equivalent experience is required and strong collaboration and communication skills are essential.

We do this through prevention, partnership working, evidence-based practice and innovative approaches to behaviour change. Working to the Consultant in Public Health for the Prevention and Inclusion the post will support the Prevention and Inclusion Team across a broad portfolio of prevention-focused activities that includes strategy development, programme delivery and commissioning. As a Public Health Officer, you will support the development, delivery and continuous improvement of programmes and services that help prevent ill health, promote healthy lifestyles and reduce inequalities across Cambridgeshire. You will work closely with colleagues across Public Health and more widely across Cambridgeshire County Council with NHS organisations, district councils, community organisations and commissioned providers to support delivery of shared priorities. You will play an important role in ensuring programmes are well coordinated, effectively managed and informed by evidence, helping to improve outcomes for residents and communities.
