Job summary

Wirral Metropolitan Borough Council is seeking a Public Health Knowledge and Intelligence Analyst on a fixed-term basis for 2 years. You will join the Public Health Intelligence Team and provide specialist analytical support to inform public health programmes and priorities.

You will analyse health and care data, interpret trends, and support evidence-based decision-making across the Council and with external partners. Degree level education and strong communication skills are essential.

Qualifications

• Good knowledge of health and care data and public health analytics.
• Ability to analyse and interpret data to identify trends and inform decisions.
• Educated to degree level with experience in specialist analysis.

Responsibilities

• Provide specialist Public Health analytical and intelligence support to inform development, delivery and evaluation of programmes.
• Develop and deliver intelligence products to support evidence-based planning and commissioning.
• Collaborate across the Council and with external stakeholders to inform action on health inequalities.
