Job summary

WGC Ltd is hiring a Public Area Cleaner for Moxy Chester, Boughton, Chester. You will support the housekeeping team, clean guest areas and public spaces to create a welcoming environment for guests.

The role offers guaranteed hours with a fixed hours contract option and a comprehensive benefits package including a training budget up to £10,000 per year, life insurance and wellbeing support.

Qualifications

• Experience in hotel housekeeping preferred.
• Ability to work afternoon/evening shifts.
• Willing to learn and adapt to a busy environment.

Responsibilities

• Join housekeeping as a Late Maid, with afternoon/evening shifts up to 8:00 pm.
• Clean guest rooms and maintain public areas, assisting guest requests.
• Keep public areas neat, vacuumed and dusted; clean mirrors, floors, elevators and doors.
• Restock supplies in lobby restrooms, including toilet paper, soap and towels.
• Respond to guest inquiries in the lobby and support recycling efforts.

In the role of Public Area Cleaner, you will report to Head Housekeeper and be responsible for supporting the housekeeping team in the day to day running of the department.

Your role will include

• Join our housekeeping team as a Late Maid, working afternoon and evening shifts (up to 8:00 pm, Monday to Thursday). Responsibilities include cleaning guest rooms, maintaining public areas, and assisting with guest requests to help create a welcoming and comfortable environment for all visitors.
• The ability to keep all public areas neat vacuumed and dusted. Makes sure mirrors, furniture, floors, elevators and doors are clean and mark-free. Removes all trash from areas
• The ability to regularly check Lobby Restrooms. Makes sure all surfaces are clean. Restocks all supplies including toilet paper, soap and hand towels.
• The ability to responds to guest requests and inquiries while in the lobby.
• The ability to spot clean all furniture and keep it in its proper place.
• The ability to clean all brass in the public areas.
• The ability to maintain all equipment and supplies and use them in a proper manner.
• To be aware and make full use of recycling facilities within the service areas.
