As a Public Area Attendant, you will be responsible for cleaning and servicing public areas (bar/restaurant/events area), corridors, fire exits, stairways, and service areas on assigned floors/areas to ensure they are clean, orderly, attractive, and well maintained.

The ideal candidate should have previous housekeeping experience in a fast-paced and luxury hotel environment.

Main Duties & Responsibilities:

The main responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

  • Prioritize guest-facing areas and urgent tasks, maintaining high standards in visible areas while managing time for secondary tasks.
  • Communicate clearly with team and other departments for smooth coordination and timely updates.
  • Regularly check guest toilets for cleanliness and readiness.
  • Ensure high-quality cleaning in Front of House and Back of House areas.
  • Complete daily tasks as per Knowcross schedules.
  • Update and acknowledge duties in the Knowcross system.
  • Keep work areas clean and equipment in good condition.
  • Maintain stocked service areas.
  • Report issues promptly to management.
  • Perform deep cleaning as instructed.
  • Handle guest laundry and dry cleaning in absence of valet, verifying services and inspecting items.
  • Follow H&S and Standard Operating Procedures.
  • Perform additional tasks as required.
